Carpet One Floor & Home has an excellent opportunity to refill an existing position in our Manchester, NH office for a Regional Membership Consultant.  This position is responsible for acting as the main Carpet One Floor & Home contact and source of information for all matters relating to membership.  Other responsibilities include:

  1. Support CCA and Regional Membership Consultant’s mission statement and develop and establish meaningful relationships through a culture of mutual trust.
  2. Advise members of all Carpet One services and programs available for their use and explain how each will benefit their business.
  3. Provide retail, marketing, financial and operation consultation to each member.
  4. Help members understand how to maximize their core purchases and improve their net rebates.
  5. Communicate regularly with members in order to keep them updated and engaged.
  6. Act as a liaison and mediate between members and other departments, divisions, mills, vendors, etc.
  7. Ensure members have a clear understanding of the Carpet One Floor & Home’s agreements and by-laws.
  8. Assimilate new members into Carpet One.  Provide training and oversee set up.
  9. Communicate member feedback and issues to the Senior Regional Membership Consultant and the Director as requested.

Qualilfications

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Marketing or Business Administration) and 2-4 years experience in a related field (Sales, Customer Service). Flooring industry experience a plus. Must have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritize and respond quickly, outstanding follow up and people skills along with the ability to learn and absorb new information quickly.  The ability to travel at least twice per year for 3-5 days each trip is required (some additional travel may be required).  Work schedule is 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.  The position also requires excellent personal computer skills (Microsoft Office, inclusive of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook). Excellent spelling and grammar skills with the ability to communicate with corporate staff in a courteous, tactful and concise manner are essential.
