The International Design Guild (IDG) has named longtime CCA Global team member, Brian Murphy as its new Director. Murphy has been with CCA Global Partners since 2004 as a Senior Business Consultant with Flooring America.
In his new role, Murphy will focus on membership driven initiatives including member engagement, sourcing exclusive products and IDG’s Design for a Difference charity outreach.
Keith Spano, President of International Design Guild, said Murphy’s extensive retail history along with his successful tenure with CCA led to naming Murphy to his new role as Director.
“Brian is a great fit to lead IDG, not only because of his deep understanding and knowledge of the industry given 17 years history with us, but because he is passionate about helping independently owned businesses,” said Spano. “He’s dedicated to helping owners operate more efficiently while achieving their business goals. We’re looking forward to the innovation he’ll bring to this next chapter for IDG.”
Prior to joining CCA Global, Murphy spent 15 years in retail operations and management.
“Coming into this position at such a critical time as we emerge from the last pandemic year, I am driven to help our members continue to thrive, to be more profitable and secure more market share,” said Murphy. “I’ve got a great team and together, we’re going to move our members and this organization forward.”
Murphy resides in Southern Maine.
