CCA For Social Good Partnership Focused on Developing Resources To Support Quality Child Care in Ohio

Manchester, NH

The Ohio Child Care Resource & Referral Association (OCCRRA) and CCA For Social Good, a division of CCA Global Partners, are pleased to announce a partnership that reinforces the commitment to supporting quality child care in Ohio.  Child care providers throughout the state will gain access to hundreds of practical resources that support their important work through the development of an exciting new website, Early Learning Resources Ohio.

“Early Learning Resources Ohio will be a one stop shop for child care professionals in Ohio, including directors, teachers, and technical assistants,” remarked Denise Sayer, Vice President of CCA For Social Good. “Steep discounts on products used by ECE professionals everyday will result in significant cost savings, and resources such as templates, policies, trainings, and forms will save valuable time. The less time needed to be spent on paperwork allows for more time spent in the classroom – and that’s a win-win for all.”

“Early Learning Resources Ohio adds to OCCRRA’s robust offering of supports for early care learning, and afterschool programs and professionals,” stated Todd Barnhouse, CEO of OCCRRA. “We’re confident that center-based programs, family child care homes, and afterschool programs in Ohio will benefit from the wide range of resources available to them on Early Learning Resources Ohio.”

The site, Early Learning Resources Ohio, will mark the twenty-third ECE Shared Resources platform that CCA For Social Good has developed for child care professionals across the country.

About The Ohio Child Care Resource & Referral Association

Incorporated in 1989, the Ohio Child Care Resource & Referral Association (OCCRRA) supports the leadership and staff of our CCR&R member agencies through training and activities that promote quality care and learning. OCCRRA participates in state–level efforts aimed at improving policies that impact early care, learning, and afterschool services. OCCRRA is governed by a board of directors comprised of representatives from our seven regional CCR&R agencies and up to seven community at-large members.  Statewide programs under OCCRRA's direction, such as the Ohio Professional Registry (https://login.occrra.org/) and T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood® OHIO (http://teach.occrra.org/), provide services for professionals who work directly with children.
