CCA Global Partners—in support of the community and artists who call the Granite State their home—announces the launch of an art gallery, the “Art Gallery at CCA Global,” featuring local work. The new gallery, located within CCA Global’s office suite in the Millyard section of downtown Manchester and managed by Sullivan Framing & Fine Arts Gallery, will highlight three talented artists, each of which will display their work for a four-month period at the new gallery.

Veteran artist Cheryl Vratsenes, whose work is described as "lively, juicy and fresh" will kick off the series on Wednesday, November 13 with a meet and greet from 5 to 6:30 pm at 670 N Commercial St, Suite 300.

“We have a unique culture at CCA Global that focuses on engaging with and giving back to the community. I’m very excited about this new effort to showcase local artists at our new Art Gallery at CCA Global and open our space up to the public so we can all learn more about some of the talented artisans that live and work in our community,” said Howard Brodsky, co-founder and co-CEO of CCA Global Partners, Inc. 

Vratsenes’ passion for painting began over 40 years ago. She has evolved in her technique, starting off as a watercolorist, focusing on detail on a smaller scale and then discovering oils, which brought a completely new approach to her paintings. Transitioning to acrylics after many years of exploring oils, her work is loose, playful, full of color and unique with subjects such as coastal birds, fish, animals and landscapes of New Hampshire. Her technique includes the use of a palette knife, which adds texture and weight to her work. The palette knife allows for the under colors of her paintings to be seen, giving an unexpected pleasing result. Vratsenses’ latest exhibit, showcased at Sullivan Framing & Fine Art Gallery in Bedford, features a blend of impressionism with an abstract composition that bursts with color and excitement.

Her paintings will be on display at the Art Gallery at CCA Global from November 4 through February 28 and the public is welcome to view them on Mondays and Wednesdays from 12:00 to 1:00 pm by appointment.
