Manchester, NH -- The Floor Covering Industry Foundation (FCIF) held its gala dinner over the weekend in the Rainbow Room at the top of the iconic Rockefeller Plaza, to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

This year FCIF honored Howard Brodsky, Co-Founder, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, CCA Global Partners. Howard has a special legacy with the foundation, serving as its chairman for over 15 years strong and being a strong believer in its mission since the organization’s founding in 1981.

“I've seen firsthand the incredible difference FCIF has made in the lives of those during their most difficult and challenging times. It is said we rise up by lifting others up, and there is no greater work than what FCIF does by lifting others up in times of need. We should all be proud of the work we do together through this organization.” Said Howard.

Also receiving honors at the event was Jeanne Matson, retiring President & CEO, Starnet; and Dana Teague, VP Informa Markets. The honorees represent a perfect example of the caliber of excellence and service that embodies the legacy of the industry. 

The ongoing uncertainty amidst the COVID-19 crisis made this year’s downsized event even more special. The gala caps FCIF’s effort for the year to raise funds to support FCIF’s mission to get individuals who have worked in the floor covering industry back on their feet when battling catastrophic injuries, severe disabilities, or other life-altering medical crises. What makes FCIF so special the support it gives to people is not limited or complicated – it is so important in the minds of industry leaders that this support is given that everyone in the industry comes together to do this.  Combined with FCIF’s golf tournament held just last month the Foundation has raised over $250,000.
